Add Festive Scents to Your Holiday Decorating

Happy Holidays my friends!

Some of you may be fully prepared and having dining table set for tonight’s Christmas dinner. Some of you may still be running around to make your home an even more inviting place for family members and friends to come. Here are my quick tips for a last minute scent decoration with a holiday theme.

Christmas Essential Oil Blend

• 5 drops Sweet Orange Oil
• 2 drops Eucalyptus Oil
• 2 drops Lemon Myrtle (or Pine) Oil
• 1 drop Cinnamon Oil

Fill a 100ml spray bottle with distilled water and add essential oils. Spray onto soft toys, the holiday tree, or on your decorations. If you’re lucky enough to have a real wood fireplace, adding a few drops oil to the firewood will add a beautiful, diffuse scent the whole time it’s burning. Wait a few days after applying the oils to allow the oil to soak into the wood though before burning.
